Q: You created Kyir to address more than just surface-level shine - it’s about scalp health, confidence, and connection. What inspired you to start Kyir, and what does the name represent for you?
A: KYIR was born from a moment of honesty, the kind of moment where you look in the mirror and realize that the products you’ve trusted for years are only addressing the surface, not the story underneath.
For me, hair loss wasn’t abstract. It was personal. It came from hormones, heredity, diet, from the quiet things your body carries long before you realize their impact. And when I went searching for solutions, I found formulas filled with harsh chemicals, side effects, and compromises I wasn’t willing to make. After nearly two decades in beauty, working alongside some of the most principled founders in clean innovation, I knew we could expect more. I knew I could build more.
KYIR began as a promise to myself: that there had to be a way to make something truly effective without sacrificing integrity. That “clean” and “powerful” didn’t have to live on opposite ends of the ingredient list. Three years of research and development and a lifetime of listening, learning, and studying this industry from the inside became our first breakthrough: FULLER, a natural yet high-performance serum that redefines what hair regrowth can look and feel like.
The name KYIR represents that transformation. It’s an evolution, a calling back to self, a reminder that confidence isn’t superficial; it’s cellular. A: To me, “clean haircare” is not a marketing phrase, it’s a mindset. Clean haircare should feel as safe as it is effective, as nourishing as it is innovative. Every ingredient has a purpose, a lineage, and a story. Our formulations are built around actives that have been studied, proven, and selected for their ability to create real change at the scalp, because true transformation always begins at the root. What sets us apart is the way we pair clinically backed actives with powerful botanicals to support real scalp and hair transformation.
In FULLER, ingredients like Redensyl® and Follicusan® target thinning at the source, while Biotin, Saw Palmetto, Ashwagandha, Caffeine, Horsetail, and Pumpkin Seed Oil strengthen the growth environment and promote density.
In STRONGER, we focus on repair and resilience with Flax Seed Extract, Squalane, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Hyaluronic Acid, and a complex of ginseng, chia, and green tea to reinforce the hair fiber and protect the scalp.

Q: Creating products that perform while staying true to sustainability is no easy feat. How do you approach that balance between performance and purpose?
A: Balancing performance and sustainability starts with a simple belief: you should not have to choose between what works and what feels right. For me, that balance comes from intention, selecting ingredients that are both clinically backed and naturally aligned with the body, and formulating in a way that delivers real transformation without unnecessary impact.
I start with performance as the non-negotiable. Every ingredient must earn its place through research, results, and purpose. From there, sustainability becomes the lens through which we refine, avoiding harsh chemicals, using highly concentrated formulas to reduce waste, and choosing raw materials that honor both scalp health and the planet.
What makes KYIR different is that every ingredient directly addresses the concern it is designed to solve. There are no fillers. Q: We’d love a peek into your own ritual - what does your personal haircare routine look like, and are there any products you simply can’t live without?
A: My routine is simple, consistent, and built around products that genuinely support scalp health and hair resilience.
Every morning and night, I apply FULLER Active Hair Serum directly to my scalp, 1–2 droppers, a brief pause to let it settle, and then a gentle massage. It’s the anchor of my ritual and the product I rely on most.
After washing my hair, I reach for STRONGER Active Bonding Spray. I shake it well, mist it from roots to ends (especially over areas prone to breakage), and comb it through for even distribution. Its ability to strengthen and smooth without weight makes it a non-negotiable for me.
These few steps form a ritual that keeps my hair healthy, grounded, and truly supported.
