Ahead of his visit, we sat down with Alec to learn more about his journey, inspirations, and what makes Sweet Chemistry so special. Read on to get to know the mind behind the formulas.
A: I’m mostly excited to experience the people of Bend—and the clean air compared to NYC!
A: I knew Sweet Chemistry was meant to be when I was exposed to the organ repair work of Xylyx Bio and the Matrikynes® naturally derived peptides they produce. The combination of their technology and my long‑standing personal formulas made sweet chemistry together.
Q: What ingredient or concept are you personally obsessed with right now?
A: Matrikynes® extracellular matrix matrikine peptides—of course! The fact that Xylyx has mapped over 315 of them, compared to the beauty industry’s handful of singular peptides, made me personally obsessed.
A: The Oil‑Serum. With the coming of chillier weather, my skin drinks it day and night—replenishing lost lipids and repairing daily damage.
