Marie Veronique All Day Age-Delay Emulsion

$125.00
The Approach:
  • Premise 1: Aging is inevitable, but premature aging is preventable.
  • Premise 2: All Day Age-Delay (AM) and Multi-Retinol Night Emulsion (PM) deliver complementary strategies.
  • Conclusion: Used together, they extend the lifespan and resilience of the skin.
Key Details for Practice:
  • Formulated for all ages and skin types, including sensitive and symptomatic.
  • Free of fragrance and essential oils.
  • Preserved with a broad-spectrum system.
  • Ocular-tested, making it an ideal AM moisturizer even for the delicate eye area.

How To Use

For daily AM use. Apply a generous pea-sized amount to the face, neck, and chest after applying serums and oils. Gently massage any excess product around the eye contour, avoiding direct contact with the lash line. Appropriate for all skin types, including sensitive/symptomatic. Follow with non-nano zinc oxide SPF 30. For maximum efficacy, pair with Multi Retinol Night Emulsion, PM. *Use within 6 months of opening.

Key Ingredients

BAKUCHIOL — Derived from Psoralea corylifolia and long used in Chinese medicine, bakuchiol is a retinoid analog that activates collagen and elastin production without binding to retinoic acid receptors. Translation: similar visible results to retinol, without redness, burning, or flaking.

Besides scavenging free radicals, suppressing inflammatory cytokines and promoting collagen production bakuchiol activates the SIRT1/PGC-1α cell signaling pathway, helping to repair mitochondrial oxidative damage, one of the core hallmarks of aging. It’s safe for day use for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin.

CARNOSINE — Carnosine works both topically and internally. When applied to skin, it helps clear senescent cells via activation of the AKT2 signaling pathway, potentially reversing visible signs of skin aging, such as wrinkles, skin laxity, and hyperpigmentation. Bonus: oral supplementation supports autophagy and reduces the advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) which contribute at the dermal level to premature wrinkling and loss of elasticity.

SPIRULINA MAXIMA — This blue algae extract fights free radical damage caused by UVA and blue light. Paired with photolyase, an enzyme that repairs UV-induced DNA damage, this duo protects and repairs to prevent genomic instability, the #1 hallmark of aging.

STREPTOCOCCUS THERMOPHILUS — This postbiotic species promotes skin cell proliferation, stimulates collagen biosynthesis, protects against DNA damage and inhibits hyaluronidase (an enzyme which limits production of hyaluronic acid). Its role in stimulating ceramide production is crucial, as the production of ceramides declines significantly with age.  Strep thermophilus restores barrier integrity and resilience.

TETRAHEXYLDECYL ASCORBATE — A stable, non-irritating form of Vitamin C that brightens, boosts collagen, fights oxidative stress, and reduces hyperpigmentation. Bonus: It synergizes beautifully with retinoids.
