Watermelon Cooler

 

 

 

The Summer Heat Is On!

Here is a quick little hydrating recipe that we love to sip on at this time of the year!

Ingredients

4 cups of organic watermelon chunks chilled

1  organic lemon

2 organic cucumbers cut up into chunks

Sprig of Mint

Directions:

Cut your watermelon in half and scoop out the fruit. Take the peel off the lemon and chop up the cucumber into large chunks. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses, add a spring of mint and enjoy this summer time treat.

Watermelon is full of many heart-healthy benefits. It is also a great source of vitamin C, vitamin A and B1. Grinding up the watermelon seeds into this drink is said to help promote kidney cleansing.

Lemons help support lung health and provides phytonutrients for the body.

Cucumbers are known for their concentration silica which is a mineral that is essential in the production of collagen. This is a must for glowing skin!
